The break provided an opportunity for the Executive Council (ExCo) of GARFA to convene a stakeholders’ meeting with clubs, sponsors, and other stakeholders to review the first round and chart a course for an enhanced second round. The meeting aimed to address key issues and resolve to ensure a peaceful and successful conclusion to the league.
As the second round commences, the goalscorers’ chart is expected to be highly contested, with players eager to emerge as the top scorer. The League Board Chairman, Mr. George Aforklenyuie, has urged all stakeholders to prioritize fair play and sportsmanship, emphasizing the need to avoid any actions that could bring the game into disrepute.
