SECOND ROUND OF SOCCABET DIVISION TWO LEAGUE KICKS OFF THIS WEEKEND

The SOCCABET Division Two League is set to resume this weekend, marking the beginning of the highly anticipated second round. After a two-week break, the league is expected to be more intense, competitive, and thrilling, with clubs vying for Middle League qualifications and others battling to avoid relegation.

The break provided an opportunity for the Executive Council (ExCo) of GARFA to convene a stakeholders’ meeting with clubs, sponsors, and other stakeholders to review the first round and chart a course for an enhanced second round. The meeting aimed to address key issues and resolve to ensure a peaceful and successful conclusion to the league.

As the second round commences, the goalscorers’ chart is expected to be highly contested, with players eager to emerge as the top scorer. The League Board Chairman, Mr. George Aforklenyuie, has urged all stakeholders to prioritize fair play and sportsmanship, emphasizing the need to avoid any actions that could bring the game into disrepute.

“Let us all strive to promote the image of the league and our cherished sponsors,” Mr. Aforklenyuie said. “We must work together to ensure a successful and peaceful conclusion to the league.”

With the second round set to kick off, fans can expect an exciting and unpredictable ride, with clubs pushing to achieve their goals and players competing for individual honors. The SOCCABET Division Two League promises to deliver thrilling matches, and all eyes will be on the league centers across Greater Accra as the action unfolds.
