The Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA), Mr. Samuel Aboabire, alongside his Executive team, engaged in a productive meeting with the leadership of the National Sports Authority (NSA) this morning.
The gathering, which included GARFA Vice Chairman Mr. Godwin Gabriel Kwao, members of the Executive Council, and District Chairmen, served as both a congratulatory visit and a formal introduction of GARFA’s leadership to the NSA. The meeting provided a platform for the two bodies to foster greater collaboration and continue strengthening their partnership.
Chairman Aboabire expressed his appreciation for the NSA’s new leadership and took the opportunity to extend official congratulations. “We are here today to congratulate you on your appointments and to introduce our Executive Council members and District Chairmen. As our landlords, we value this opportunity to reinforce the synergy between us,” said Aboabire.
In response, NSA Director General, Mr. Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, expressed gratitude for the warm gesture. “We are deeply honored by your visit and your kind congratulations. It is a privilege to have GARFA as our tenants, and we truly appreciate your continued dedication to grassroots football development. As the key drivers of the game at the grassroots, we are committed to offering our full support in ensuring that our football reaches its rightful place,” Ankrah stated.
The meeting marked a step forward in strengthening the working relationship between GARFA and the NSA, with both parties expressing a shared commitment to the growth and development of football in Ghana.
