2024/25 GFA Women’s FA Cup champions, Faith Ladies FC, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Council of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) on Thursday morning at the Association’s Secretariat.

The visit was aimed at officially presenting their FA Cup trophy to the GARFA leadership and formally introducing themselves ahead of their participation in the upcoming GARFA Women’s Division One League, following their relegation from the Women’s Premier League.

Led by the Founder of the club and the team captain, Faith Ladies presented the prestigious silverware to GARFA Chairman, Mr. Samuel Aboabire, seeking his blessings and support as they prepare to compete in the regional division next season.

Mr. Aboabire extended his congratulations to the team for their FA Cup triumph and also expressed empathy regarding their recent relegation. He warmly welcomed the club back into the GARFA fold and encouraged them to view their return not only as an opportunity to seek promotion but also to share the experience and professionalism gained at the top level with the Division One ecosystem.

The Chairman urged the club’s leadership to put the right structures in place and work diligently to regain their spot in the top flight, emphasizing that their presence in the Division should uplift the standard of the league.

Faith Ladies’ FA Cup victory was a testament to their resilience and talent, and their commitment to rebuilding begins with their re-entry into regional competition under the GARFA umbrella.
