Siano Soccer Club of Ga West has been crowned champions of the 2024/25 GARFA Districts KGL Inter-Clubs Colts Championship, following an impressive 2-0 victory over All Nice FC in a thrilling final held at the Teshie McDan Complex.
The competition, organized by the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) and sponsored by KGL, brought together the twelve District Colts Champions across the region. The tournament kicked off on Saturday, August 2 2025, at four designated centers, with the aim of unearthing the best of grassroots football talent in the capital.
After an intense group stage, four teams advanced to the semi-finals: Barca Kids (Accra West), Siano SC (Ga West), Munnik FC (Ga East), and All Nice FC.
The first semi-final saw All Nice edge past Munnik FC in a penalty shootout, after a closely contested game ended in a stalemate. In the second semi-final, Siano SC put up a dominant performance to brush aside Barca Kids with a convincing 3-0 win.
In Sunday’s grand finale, both finalists displayed exceptional skill and tactical discipline. However, it was Siano SC who proved superior once again, securing a 2-0 win over All Nice to clinch the coveted title.
As champions, Siano SC received a giant trophy, a full set of jerseys, and a cash prize of GHC 10,000 from the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA).
Siano’s Norbert Mensah was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament, capping off a standout campaign with individual brilliance.
The 2024/25 edition of the GARFA KGL Inter-Clubs Championship will be remembered not only for the high level of competition but also for its contribution to the continued development of colts football in the Greater Accra Region.
