John Paintsil Football Academy have successfully defended their Zone 5 crown in the 2025/26 SOCCABET Division Two League in the Greater Accra Region, underlining their dominance with another outstanding campaign.
Having topped the same zone last season, the academy once again proved a class above their rivals, amassing an impressive 67 points. Their attacking prowess saw them score 64 goals, while maintaining defensive discipline by conceding just 27.
The title was sealed in emphatic fashion on the final day, as they secured a 5–0 victory over Madina Republicans FC, sparking jubilant celebrations among players, officials, and supporters.
By virtue of this triumph, John Paintsil FA have booked their place in the 2025/26 SOCCABET Middle League, where they will compete for promotion in the next phase of the competition.
The coronation ceremony was graced by the Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA), his vice, and members of the League Board, who presented the team with their medals and championship trophy.
Since their establishment, the academy has built a reputation for consistency, resilience, and competitive excellence. Attention now turns to the Middle League, where their credentials will be tested against the region’s finest as they seek to continue their upward trajectory.
