The Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) will on Thursday, May 7, 2026, officially launch the much-anticipated Division Two Middle League at the Clossag Conference Hall, located within the Ministries enclave in Accra.
Widely regarded as one of the most competitive and well-structured competitions in regional football, the Division Two Middle League returns with renewed excitement as clubs prepare for the next phase of the campaign.
The launch event will be complemented by the staging of the SOCCABET Monthly Awards, an initiative aimed at recognising and rewarding excellence within the league. Outstanding players, coaches, and referees who distinguished themselves in matches played across February, March, and April will be honoured for their remarkable contributions.
Now in its fourth year, the Monthly Awards scheme continues to grow in stature, with leading betting firm SOCCABET sustaining its commitment as headline sponsor. The ceremony is expected to deliver both prestige and entertainment, with music and traditional “jama” performances lined up to enhance the atmosphere.
A host of key stakeholders in Ghana football are expected to grace the occasion, including executives of GARFA, as well as senior representatives from SOCCABET and Ashlid Sports, underscoring the significance of the event on the regional football calendar.
