TRUE LIFE FC DOMINATES 2025 GARFA SUPA CUP AWARDS

True Life FC capped off a remarkable campaign in the 2025 GARFA Supa Cup with a dominant 2-0 victory over John Paintsil FA in the finals, played on Sunday afternoon at the Adjiringanor Astroturf.

The highly anticipated final drew an impressive crowd, including key dignitaries such as GARFA Chairman Mr. Samuel Aboabire, members of the Executive Council, and several District Chairmen. Football enthusiasts in attendance were treated to a competitive and entertaining match, marked by moments of brilliance and drama.

Despite the scoreline, John Paintsil FA provided stiff opposition and made True Life FC work hard for the win. The intensity of the match reflected both teams’ hunger for silverware and offered fans a thrilling football spectacle.

True Life FC, however, proved too strong in the end, sealing the championship with two unanswered goals and sweeping all major accolades in the process. The club was awarded the prestigious Supa Cup trophy, 30 gold medals, and 15 footballs.

John Paintsil FA, as runners-up, were presented with 30 silver medals and 10 footballs in recognition of their strong showing throughout the tournament.

Individual excellence was also rewarded, with True Life FC’s Benjamin Agoe earning the Best Goalkeeper award, while teammate Prince Kyeremeh was named Best Player of the tournament. The club’s head coach completed the clean sweep by claiming the Best Coach award, marking a triumphant day for the True Life FC camp.

The GARFA Supa Cup is an initiative introduced by the GARFA Executive Council to support Division Three clubs transitioning into the SOCCABET Division Two League. The competition also includes teams that participated in the season’s Middle League, offering valuable experience and exposure to emerging clubs.

With the curtain drawn on the Supa Cup, attention now shifts to the 2025/26 SOCCABET Division Two League, set to kick off on October 3, 2025. Football fans across the region will be eagerly watching to see how these newly promoted clubs perform at the next level.
