“GARFA Monthly Awards 2023/24: Celebrating Excellence in Football – January Edition”.

GARFA Monthly Awards for the January 2023/24 football season took place on March 7, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium. Noteworthy performances were recognized across various categories. The ceremony began with the acknowledgment of 11 players who scored hattricks in January, including Zama Marzuk, Bright Awitor, and others from different clubs.

In the Best Referee category, Abraham Lincoln Ahudey, a class I referee, was honored as the best referee for January, presented by Mrs. Christine Ziga, GFA Referees Committee Chairperson.

The Best Assistant Referee title went to Solomon Jonas Kwesi Anaisie, as adjudged by the Referee Assessors Committee of GARFA, with the presentation made by GARFA Technical Committee Member and FIFA/CAF Referee Technical Instructor , Mr. Thomas Nunoo.

The Best Coach award saw Abdullah Fuseini of Kowa Naso FC recognized by the GARFA League Board Committee and Technical Directorate. The Best Player category featured notable performers like Romeo Yaw Appiah, Solomon Owusu Ansah, and Francis Lawrence A., with awards presented to the Best Coach and Best Player.

In the GARFA Women D1 League, Salma Sai Jaibril of Epiphany Warriors FC was named the Best Player, and Evans Quansah of Halifax Ladies FC won the Best Coach accolade.

Chairman of GARFA, Mr. Samuel Aboabire, commended all award winners and nominees for their outstanding contributions to football. GARFA continues to celebrate excellence in the sport.
