The maiden edition of Greater Accra Juvenile Inter District Zonal Championship comes off on Wednesday, May 10 2023.
The long awaited tournament shall be played at the Madina Zongo Sports Compex. Kickoff is 8am prompt.
The purpose is to scout for a worthy and a battle ready crop of players to represent Greater Accra in the KGL National Inter Regional Championship scheduled to happen in Kumasi in the month of June.
Four zones from the various Districts shall partake in the competition.
Zone 1 is a hybrid of teams from Ashaiman(Lebanon,Tulaku,Zenu,Adjei Kojo,etc) Dangme East(Ada,Sege,Lotsobwoy,etc) and Dangme South(Ningo,Prampram,Dowhenya,Tsopoli,Dawa,Akplavanya,etc.
Zone 2 makes teams from Tema, Ga East(Madina,Adentan,Atomic,etc)Dangme West (Asutuary,Dodowa,Shai Hills,etc)
Zone 3 is a nucleus of teams from Accra East(Nungua,La,Teshie,etc) Accra West(Mamprobi, Banana Inn, Korle Gorno ,etc)and Ga South(Nyanyano Kakraba, Amanfrom, Galilea,etc) while Zone 4 is a hybrid of teams from Accra North(Fadama,North Kaneshie, Kaneshie,etc) Ga North (Pokuase, Mile 7, Tantra,etc)and Ga West(Amasaman, Akraman, Abease, Sapeiman, Mayera, Papaase, Obaakrowae,etc)
