GARFA JUVENILE INTER CLUB DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP 2022/2023 FOOTBALL SEASON

In the heart of the Capital of Ghana, GARFA Juvenile Inter Club District Championship took center stage, bringing together four teams (Peace Boys FC, Foresee FC, Inspired Youth FC and Miracle Stars FC) in an electrifying display of youthful enthusiasm and sportsmanship at the Madina Zongo Sports Complex on
Saturday August 26, 2023.
The competition which was scheduled to have started at 12.00pm eventually kicked off 2pm.
Present at the venue were the Chairman of GARFA, Mr. Samuel Aboabire, Juvenile Competitions Chairman, GARFA League Board Chairman Mr George Aforklenyuie, Mr Fiaduse Kwabla Michael and his vice Mr. Tommy Raphael, some District FA Chairmen, Football Agents, Scouts, football lovers and charged spectators.
The sun’s warm embrace greeted the players and fans alike as they gathered at the Madina Zongo AstroTurf and Sports Complex.
The competition was fierce from the very beginning, with each team showcasing their unique skills and strategies. As the matches progressed, the tension in the air was palpable, and the cheers from the enthusiastic crowd echoed through the Sports Complex.
The game between Foresee FC and Peace Boys FC was won by Foresee FC 3:0. Inspired Youth FC on the other hand won against Miracle FC in a 3:1 in the second semi final game to set a meeting in the final with Foresee FC.
The grand finale was a spectacle to behold. The match was a true display of skills, resilience, and determination, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats until the very last second.
The first and second positions were contested with an intensity that could rival any professional league. Though, Inspired Youth were the first to score, Foresee FC came back strongly to cancel the lead and beat Inspired Youth FC a 2:1 to be crowned the 2022/23 Juvenile champions of the GARFA.
Foresee FC did not only win the Championship but they had their Goalkeeper Julius Ahelegbe emerging as the most outstanding player in defence throughout the competition, their coach Osman Sido as the Best Coach and Ishmael Aborta as the MVP and Top Scorer.
As the sun set on this memorable day, the Juvenile Inter Club District Championship came to an end, leaving behind a trail of unforgettable moments and inspiring stories of young athletes chasing their dreams.
