The Greater Accra Regional Football Association met with both the Women Division 1 Committee and the District Football Association’s media team to draft a road map to ensure effective publication of their leagues and activities in the region.
The Chairman of GARFA, Mr. Samuel Aboabire emphasized that, his earnest wish was to see most of GARFA’s products (Division 2, Women Division 1, Division 3 and Juvenile Competitions Committee) in the limelight of the media and all social media platforms.
The meeting which was heavily represented by the media and IT Professionals from the various administrative bodies of GARFA was a success, as salient points were outlined to promote and improve publicity of our game in general.
GARFA Chairman urged its representing bodies to appoint a dedicated IT personnel to create and manage relevant social media handles that can help in achieving this task. He commissioned his resource persons (IT) to create a common platform to administratively advise and manage the information that are to be published.
IT Resource team representing GARFA, outlined a roadmap and structure to follow in achieving the mileage we seek, by way of publishing good content and graphics to consumers out there.
The general expectation is to create awareness of the wonderful impact and contributions GARFA has made in the promotion of grass-root and Women football in the region.
